I made my acting debut in 1979 on the "Deputy Dukes" episode of the "Dukes of Hazzard" TV series playing the role of "Officer Price." Since that time, I have had the opportunity to work with Tom Wopat ("Luke Duke") and John Schneider ("Bo Duke") on several occasions and was even invited to sing on a couple of shows with Ben Jones ("Cooter") at Cooter's Place in my hometown of Gatlinburg, Tennessee and at the Country Tonite theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Most recently, Ben and Alma invited me to appear at Dukesfest in Nashville, Tennessee where an estimated 60,000+ people attended. This was one of most enjoyable festivals I have worked in a long time. It was great to see all the cast members, Catherine Bach ("Daisy Duke"), Tom ("Luke Duke"), John Schneider ("Bo Duke"), Ben Jones ("Cooter"), James Best ("Rosco") and Sonny Shroyer ("Enos") and Rick Hurst ("Deputy Cletus"). I was amazed at how well we all still look after 27 years! Last year I auditioned for the "Dukes of Hazzard" movie starring Jessica Simpson, but as luck would have it, I missed out on the role of Willie Nelson's girlfriend. Hey y'all I'm a Dukes fanatic, too! I appreciate having the honor of being included in the Dukes of Hazzard family! As "Officer Price" would say, "Hey y'all, I'm Officer Price." And as "Bo Duke" would say, "The Price is right!" Thanks to Ben Jones ("Cooter") and Alma for the incredible job they do! And thanks to all of you for keeping family entertainment alive and well!
